De Montfort University Focus Event
net-runna’s innovative preboot technology received a warm reception from attendees at our March Focus Event held in conjunction with De Montfort University. Those who attended were openly impressed by the power of net-runna, advocated by Roy Adams, DMU IT Director, and Dave Atterbury, DMU Senior IT Systems Engineer. All parties were in agreement that the need for such a solution to aid Higher Education IT service delivery has never been greater - that combined with current and forecasted changes to the HE sector make the need for smarter IT infrastructure and support top of the management wish list!

Disk failures prove 3rd largest outage cause
Bianca Schroeder from Carnegie Mellon University has written a report identifying disk failure as the third most common cause of all outages at 16% behind CPU and memory, at 44% and 29%, respectively.
It seems that disk failure frequency has been significantly underestimated by manufacturers with thousands of unsuspecting PC users facing loss of data and reduced productivity as a result. net-runna Enterprise allows users to preserve their data and with rapid repair, downtime is kept to an absolute minimum….
